Do you walk your neighborhood and see that the first foot~second foot from the street is dead and strewn with the remains from winter's snow? I mean the stuff that the Highway Departments spread well into your lawn from sanding the streets and then plowing the results off them.

It sure would be nice if they then came around and blew that stuff back onto the roadway before they send the brushing and vacuum truck. In my town they do not. They do not even give advance notice of when that street cleaning will take place and they only do it once.

I have found a partial solution. Get a blower and blow that stuff back onto the street. When folks speed down that street their tires will spray it onto their cars. That will get them to slow down!!! It is a good way to put the green back and add safety until complaints get the highway departments to seen the sweeper/vacuum back.
