Hello!
My name is Nadine Souto and I'm a student at Vassar College. This summer, I am working with professor Lisa Paravisini and fellow student Liz Jones on compiling an oral history of the Casperkill watershed.

The Casperkill watershed is located within the City and Town of Poughkeepsie and extends from the Peach Hill area to the Hudson River, just southwest of the Poughkeepsie Galleria. By conducting interviews as well as some archival research, we hope to compile memories, stories, maps and pictures through which we can create an illustrated history of the watershed since the mid-20th century.

We will be compiling all this information onto a blog.
